Asphalt Plant for Road Construction Industry

Image
The purpose of an Asphalt Plant is to blend aggregates, asphalt and other additives in required proportion as per job mix formula and at elevated temperature to produce a homogeneous hot mix paving mixture. This hot mix asphalt is used for Road Construction . There are basically two types (based on design) of Plants (1) Batch Mix Plant (Discontinuous type) and (2) Drum Mix Plant. (Continuous type) In Batch type Plant, drying and heating of aggregates take place in rotary drum and heated aggregates are weighed & screened-in hot bins for proportioning prior to blending with a binder in separate pugmill type mixer to make up one batch. In Drum type Plant the heating, drying and blending of aggregates with the binder takes in the same drum wherein the feeding of aggregates & binders and output of hot mix asphalt is continuous. This type of plant gives a higher production rate and is easy & simple to operate. They are cheaper compared to the batch type plants. Regard...

Builders recognize the importance of a concrete mixing plant to their construction projects. Construction sites use concrete in many parts of the project, and builders need a consistent fresh supply of this material. Having a concrete plant near your site lets you save on fuel, manpower, and resources by reducing the need for trucks and reducing transport time. A concrete mixing plant , also known as a batching plant, can accommodate large amounts of sand, gravel, water, and rocks to create big batches of fresh concrete. There are two types of mixing plants: the ready-mix batch plants and the central-mix batch plants. What Is a Ready-Mix Batch Plant? It combines all ingredients required in making concrete, except water. Operators add water to the mixture after transferring it to mixing trucks. These trucks have a drum which turns while transporting the concrete, combining all ingredients together on the way to the construction site. You have three different mixing options wh...

Concrete Batch Plants Particularly Useful Where Concrete Production is Required 24X7

A concrete batch plant is a mixing plant where sand, gravel, cement, water, and other materials are turned into concrete. The concrete produced in concrete batch plants is used for the foundations of buildings, paving material for roads and parking lots, pipes used for drainage and plumbing and precast concrete components. In the past, concrete batch plants posed environmental issues in that they produced large amounts of dust and other particles that contributed to air pollution as well as dirty runoff water. Today, however concrete batch plants are designed to reuse wastewater and decrease the amount of pollution emitted. Concrete batch plants are used by the construction industry and are required to produce high volumes of concrete and to be portable or stationary as required for a particular construction site. There are various models of concrete batch plants available on the market designed to suit the particular needs of the construction industry. Self-loading batching plants a...
